This was taken at the Carling Cup match against West Brom at Old Trafford on the evening of Wednesday 30th November 2005. George Best had died a few day earlier and this was the match where a tribute was held for George Best and all the fans held aloft a picture of George Best during a minutes silence. I've been a lifelong fan of Manchester United, following them through the UK and Europe, but never have I seen such an amazing atmosphere in my life, just thinking about it sends shivers down my back!
